Upsert^® Connector for Slack lets users send messages to Slack users and channels directly from Sugar. Admins can use the connector to set up SugarBPM processes that send custom, automated Slack messages when the right conditions are met in Sugar. Users can even search Sugar using Slack commands.

Need to touch base with someone about that opportunity? Just choose "Send Slack Message" from any record's actions menu to instantly send a chat to a user or channel. Upsert^® Connector for Slack preloads your message with a link to the record, and you can add your ideas to the content before hitting send.

Quickly send messages to any user

Hover over the Slack icon next to any user's name in Sugar and choose "Send in Sugar". If you're viewing a specific record in list view or record view, Upsert^® Connector for Slack adds a link to that record in a message that you can compose and send from the Sugar UI.

Launch your Slack app right from Sugar

Less clicking means more time for selling! You don't need to go find and click on Slack in your computer's sidebar and then search for the right person to talk to when you've got the Upsert^® Connector for Slack installed. Just hover over the Slack icon next to a user's name in Sugar and choose "Send in Slack." Your desktop Slack app will open to the right place with a link to the current record ready to go.

Create and view channels that are related to your Sugar records

With the Upsert® Connector for Slack: Channels record view dashlet, you can relate multiple new or existing channels to the Sugar record, and read the channel discussions right there in the dashlet.

Send automated Slack messages and alerts with SugarBPM

If you want everyone to celebrate the wins, you can set up a SugarBPM process definition that sends a message every time a sale is won. Slack commands for SugarCRM

Use Sugar's global search from inside Slack. Upsert® Connector for Slack adds a custom Slack command that lets you run global search queries from Slack by typing /sugar search {term} or /sugar search {module} {term}. The top five results return with links to each matching record.
